(More customer reviews)I had the silicon carbide (SiC) blade and it showed extensive wear after about 3 linear feet of tile grout. Same experience with the SiC grit sanding flat blade (which bends easily by the way). The diamond blade is hideously expensive but I have to say it performs much better. Ive opened a shower wall that was stucco'ed on (ca. 1950s) saving the tile and in maybe 8 linear feet it shows little wear. Would love a less expensive blade that works as well but until then this is the Big Kahuna.
