(More customer reviews)Probably not the typical type of review you'd think you'd read.... I have never seen my husband so happy with a product as like this one. We purchased two Jaw horses one stays up and in constant use, the other is his "mobile" one... I have seen him using this practically every single day since the day of delivery. He has done more around the house then ever !!! This product has given him so many times the "extra hands" needed to do the job. Once more... it free's me up to not have to be the one "holding" the item he's working on... it's amazing... I'll give you an example: He needed to cut a board, a simple board, normally it was him who would say, "hey can you stand on this for me so I can get this angle just right...??" and now... all I hear is the sound of the skillsaw, and look out the window and realize he's hard at work.. and has just this week completed the making of my front door porch !!!! Both Jawhorses, set up, and in use and a very happy husband !!! I myself used it for a simple job and realized OMG this is great... I wanted to put together a picture frame and had nothing to hold it while I used the glue and nails... thought.. humm I'd try the Jawhorse myself... it was EASY to use... and worked just perfect...got the frame together, and it was the most fun saying "look hun, I did this all by myself too"... I must admit I was sceptical thinking it would hold heavy items etc... but I can say with all confidence... this is GOING to do the job... it is everything it says it is and more... I am ecstatic we bought them.. was the best best best buy we could have gotten for such a great price... I'm a very happy wife with lots of little odd jobs being completed and done with ease and a smile... Happy !!!!

The diamond coated blade worked to cut out the grout around the original tile, but did not do the job to cut/notch the replacement ceramic floor tile as it was advertised to do.

(More customer reviews)I wanted to try a carbide rasp for my Harbor Freight Oscillating saw and ordered a Versa-Tool MB1L flush cut universal blade to try it. The blade came quickly and is very well made. I have used the blade to remove unwanted stock around home improvement projects and find that it is capable of handling all manner of material compositions quickly and cleanly. This is not perhaps a finish tool but is not meant to be. One can quickly and easily remove those areas on a project where some small piece does not aligne as intended and move on with out resorting to using a hand rasp or wood chisel. A great time saver for us home improvement types.

Festool CT MIDI 3.96 Gallon Dust Extractor Review

(More customer reviews)Is this vacuum cleaner expensive than almost any vacuum? Yes.
Is nosier than a Fein vacuum? Yes.
Is this vacuum capacity small? Yes.
So why buy it.
Because it is probable the best "portable" vacuum cleaner out there.
It is very compact, quiet, easy to replace bags, the auto power features is great, and you can stack you Festool systainers and wheel it right to where you are going to work.
Now if you don't own Festool, you should look at the Fein vacuum because they do have more capacity and are quieter for the same price.
But if you are into being organized this vacuum with systainers is the way to go.
If you own Festool, the only real question is what size Vacuum to get.
Note, I use this vacuum with my Festool and have no problems except when doing large routing jobs.
But most people get the CT22 for the extra capacity, but for me portability was more important and I think Fein vacuums are better for Shops for the reasons above.

(More customer reviews)This is the the first reconditioned tool I ever bought (along with a recon Bosch Bulldog at the same time - no issues with Bulldog). I felt like I was taking a risk, but I'm glad I did. My boss bought a brand new one and mine came looking and working just as good, for $80 some less. I wanted the Fein for years, but here's the deal. The Fein is a great tool, no doubt, I've used a couple of them. Its also expensive. $200+ for the most basic kit that has no case, and I like my tools in cases when I can. The blades are also very expensive. The Bosch blades aren't cheap either, but a lot easier on the wallet. More after market blades are coming available. I'm still waiting to recieve some, so I don't know if the quality will stack up.
The big knock on this tool is battery life. First, rest assured that this does not mean power, it has plenty. Run time is the issue, but I say that's no issue at all. Some say the battery only lasts less than 5 minutes in continuous use. What, are you ripping 2X4's with it? This tool does not take the place of a circular, reciprocating, jig-, or any other kind of saw that will get those jobs done. These blades are much more expensive than other saw blades so it makes no sense to do that. This tool (and the Fein and others) is sold as a sander, too. Maybe this is where the battery-life complaints arise. I haven't sanded with it and probably never will. I have probably a dozen sanders, and the little triangular sanding sheets for these tools are, you guessed it, expensive compared to other sand paper.
So why have this tool? The flush and plunge cutting wood blades are all I'm interested in. It can't be beat for, say, undercutting door jambs and casing for new hardwood or tile floors, or trimming back existing base for a new door or new wider casing. As a trim carpenter its great, faster and more precise than the old ways of doing things with hand saws and chisels. With two batteries, run time is no issue as its only used in short bursts. I'm very happy to have saved $80-90 with the reconditioned tool.

(More customer reviews)The Fein Multi-Master and attachments are over-priced. But they deliver in a lot of situations where there are no better tools. Despite the price, I'm glad to own them.
However, the Star Mount Adaptor is easily damaged if you need to frequently change blade positions and don't take the time to carefully fit everything together. "Pilot Error" on my part, but for the price, the adaptor should be made of more durable material.
The metal is too soft and prone to wear. Still, the star adaptor holds blades on the older version of the Multi-Master well enough to justify the purchase. Barely.
